Pakistan test squad for Sri Lanka 2022: Pakistan announced 18 players squad
for the upcoming 2 match test series against Sri Lanka in July. Remember this
series is the part of World Test Championship (WTC) so this test series is very
important for both team.

Yasir Shah Returns: leg spinner Yasir Shah returned to the test squad for the
next month’s 2 match test series against Sri Lanka. Remember Yasir Shah faces fitness problem in
past one and half year he had a thumb injury during the National T20 cup last
year but now he has recovered. Yasir Shah was play an important role in
Pakistan’s 2-1 victory over Sri Lanka on their last tour of the Sri Lanka in
2015.
Chief selector’s statement: Chief selector Muhammad Wasim said
that “we have selected this squad considering the conditions in Sri Lanka and
have equipped the team with the best possible resources and he added that our
spin department is boosted with the return of Yasir Shah”.
Pak test squad: the Pakistan test squad includes 3 openers and 4 medal-order
batsman as well as 3 all-rounder and 2 wicket-keeper batsmen and 4 fast bowlers
and 2 spin bowlers.

Test series schedule: before the series Pakistan team will play warm-up match in
Sri Lanka from 11 to 13 July and after the warm-up match Pakistan team will
play 1st test match of the test series against Sri Lanka from 16-20
July and 2nd test match will play between Pakistan and Sri Lanka
from 24 to 28 July.
